- Package, test and incorporate automated desktop application installations within a SMS and SCCM framework.
- Participate in Windows 7 planning and implementation of 1800 workstations and laptops using a Microsoft SCCM infrastructure.
- Administer a SCCM environment across multiple sites within the US to include application packaging, Microsoft patches, application patches and operating system deployments.
- Support end user workstations as part of the Client Support team
- Need to solve complex problems that junior administrators have not been able to solve.
- Occasionally support remote users and provide technical assistance to the remote IT analysts where necessary.
- Work across all areas of IT, especially IT Infrastructure (client support, helpdesk, networks, telecom, A/V, and system administration).
- Support Vmware virtual desktop using an ESX environment and thin client computing

Must be able to communicate in a professional manner -- as well as use networking skills to coordinate efforts with IT management and staff, including: helpdesk, client support, system administration, telecom/networking, A/V, and application administrators. Personal skills include the ability and perseverance necessary to work through difficult problems, persevering the pressures which come with hard deadlines in a Fortune 500 corporate environment. This includes networking with other IT staff and management, including the CIO.

Technical skills include understanding (and even enthusiasm for), and ability to recommend, install, troubleshoot and resolve problems for the following systems and/or technologies: Microsoft Microsoft SCCM, application packaging, scripting knowledge with VBScript, Wise, InstallShield, Application virtualization experience, Windows operating environments and systems, laptops/desktops, wireless converged devices (blackberrys, iPhones, etc.), desktop firewalls, basic networking, home networks (including wireless/routing/firewalls/etc.), printers, projectors (A/V), phones/cellphones, pagers, etc... . High consideration will be given to individuals who have a enthusiasm for supporting end users yet posses the necessary systems experience required to support SCCM, Vmware vurtualization and application packaging. An individual who has a background in infrastructure support beginning with heldpesk support and working up to advanced infrastructure technologies will also be a plus. Also, the candidate must have good written skills as the position requires technical documentation and knowledge transfer to co workers.
